about Ms. Cain

Myra Cain

I am a seasoned clinical therapist and school psychologist with over 15 years experience serving individuals and families.  I have experience with all ages and stages of human development and life challenges that as human beings, we all inevitably face. These difficulties may include significant loss, forming and maintaining healthy relationships, setting and maintaining personal boundaries, planning and goal setting, establishing identity,  and personal and professional change/transition.

I use various clinical/assessment techniques as needed. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Biofeedback and Neuro-therapy. I offer  standardized intellectual/cognitive, behavioral, developmental and achievement evaluations, and assist families with the development of education plans/IEPs, as well as their interpretation and compliance.

My practice is focused on sensitivity, empathy, and compassion for each individual client. I enjoy helping clients along the journey of self-discovery, establishing and/or re-discovering  a sense of wonder about life, delighting in their unique identity, developing an awareness of personal strengths and accommodating personal weaknesses. My intent is to help each client embrace hope & expectation for their present and future.
